Environmental Responsibility

Our Commitment to a Greener Future

At Amogh Chemicals, our commitment to sustainable water management is integral to our operations. We employ a range of practices designed to conserve water, optimize its use, and reduce our overall environmental impact. Here’s a detailed overview of our key water sustainability initiatives.

Water Management

N

Regular Process Improvement and Modification

We continuously seek to improve and modify our processes to enhance water efficiency. By regularly evaluating and refining our production methods, we aim to reduce water consumption and minimize waste.

Example: Recent modifications to our cooling processes have led to a more efficient use of water, reducing overall consumption while maintaining the effectiveness of our cooling systems.

N

Recovery and Recycling of Water

Water recovery and recycling are pivotal components of our sustainability strategy. We utilize distillation to recover and recycle water, ensuring that this valuable resource is reused within our operations.

Example: The distillation process allows us to reclaim and purify water from various production stages, which is then reused in our operations, reducing the need for fresh water and lowering overall consumption.

N

Routine Monitoring and Employee Education

We conduct routine checks and regular monitoring of our water consumption to track usage and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, we educate our employees about water conservation practices to promote a culture of sustainability.

Example: Monthly water audits are carried out to monitor usage patterns, and employees receive training on best practices for water conservation, such as reporting leaks and optimizing water use in their daily tasks.

N

Reuse of Condensate and Gland Cooling Water

We practice the reuse of condensate water and gland cooling water to enhance water efficiency. This approach minimizes the need for fresh water by recycling water used in cooling processes.

Example: Condensate water from our steam systems is collected, treated, and reused in our cooling systems, significantly reducing our reliance on external water sources.

N

Installation of Water-Saving Taps

To further our commitment to water conservation, water-saving taps are installed for all new fixtures. These taps are designed to reduce water flow while maintaining functionality, contributing to overall water savings.

Example: New installations in our facility include water-saving taps that use aerators to reduce water flow, resulting in lower water consumption without compromising performance.

N

Jet Spray for Vessel Cleaning

We utilize a jet spray system for vessel cleaning, which is more efficient than traditional methods and helps in reducing water usage during cleaning operations.

Example: The jet spray system uses targeted high-pressure water jets to clean vessels, reducing the amount of water required compared to conventional cleaning methods.

N

Achieving Water Savings

Through these initiatives, we have achieved approximately 16.0% water savings, based on a comparison of water consumption between December 2023 and November 2023. This achievement reflects our ongoing efforts to enhance water efficiency and sustainability.

Example: By implementing our water-saving measures and optimizing processes, we have significantly reduced our water consumption, contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally responsible operation.

Join Us in Our Journey
